Summer Backpacking Trip

Beyond Timberline

It's going to be in tents!

It is our goal in presenting Beyond Timberline to develop teenagers in discipleship, leadership, and adventure... Hiking through the serene mountains will allow an escape from the pressures of society that so often hinder young people from identifying themselves. The curriculum set forth is designed to promote individual growth through self-evaluation based on biblical principles and the life of Jesus Christ. Press on!

There are two different ways to sign up for Beyond Timberline.
If you are an individual looking to join a team of new faces for a week on the trail, you will want to register under “Individual Sign Up”. If you are a youth leader or just want to put a group of 10 or more of your friends together, you will want to register under “Group Sign Up”. In order to register as a group you must have at least 8 participants.

Camp Timberline is always looking for ways to challenge teenagers both physically and spiritually. Beyond Timberline does an incredible job of doing both. "BT" is a six day experience designed specifically for those who are looking for a little more adventure in their life. Participants will be tested physically, mentally, and spiritually, as we conquer several miles of trail each day, hiking through some of the most
beautiful yet challenging terrain in Colorado. Participants will head home with their heads high with the new knowledge of skills such as; setting up and taking down a single wall tent, cooking a delicious backcountry meal, moving steadily and safely across rivers and rocks with a pack on their back, the 7 Leave No Trace principles, and many more. Just as Jesus went to the wildness to meet with his Father, so too are we.

SPRING BREAK WITH CAMP TIMBERLINE!

That’s right! Beyond Timberline is heading into the Rocky Mountain National Park in March! Come and see what the RMNP looks like covered in snow. Learn how to travel through the frozen tundra using snow shoes and a gear sled. Sleep soundly in a perfectly crafted snow cave, igloo, or quinzee and learn the skills and techniques it takes to enjoy the art of snow camping. Our spring break adventure is 4 days and 3 nights.

Trip Dates:
• March 15-19
• March 22-26
• March 29-April 2

*BT staff are highly experienced and certified for this program with a natural adoration for the outdoors and kids.

Camp Timberline backpacking expeditions (Beyond Timberline) was one of the most challenging things I've ever done. I grew physically, spiritually, and emotionally all in one week in the great outdoors. It's an experience you can't miss!.
