Interns will learn by hands-on experience in facilitating our 14 week retreat season. Interns will be rotating through different responsibilities including but not limited to Programming, Food Service, and Property Management. No matter what job rotation you are in, you will gain experience in facilitating team building and low ropes activities, teaching outdoor education courses while also running our high ropes elements.
PLAY.
During our fall retreat season, we get to serve a wide variety of groups ranging from elementary school students to young professionals. As an intern, you will get to interact and form relationships with the groups that come up to Camp Timberline as well as live in deep community with the other interns. Training for EXP is a little different than the average internship, training includes a backpacking trip in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
EXPERIENCE.
EXP is a paid internship unlike any other. Located at the base of Longs Peak interns will get to live on the property with room and board included. The requirements to be apart of the EXP team are simple, a willingness to serve, a passion for camping ministry and more than anything else a desire to work and grow in community.
